WATCH: The UN is erasing Jewish historical connection to the Temple Mount, the most sacred site in Judaism.

Join us and demand the UN explicitly recognize Judaism’s history on the Temple Mount and Western Wall at:

http://tip.nationbuilder.com/unesco

On October 14, 2016 the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) ruled the Temple Mount has no Jewish history but has Islamic history.

The irony is Mexico contemplated forcing a re-vote but Western nations more friendly to Islam than to the ancient heritage of persuaded Mexico to withdraw re-vote request from UNESCO. Here is an excerpt from the Middle East Monitor -  examine the 10/14 yeas, nays and abstentions:

How countries voted previously

Countries in support of the motion:

Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chad, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan and Vietnam

Those against:

Israel, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the UK and the US

Abstentions:

Albania, Argentina, Cameroon, Cote de’Ivoire, El Salvador, Spain, France, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Haiti, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Nepal, Uganda, Paraguay, South Korea, St. Kits and Nevis, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Togo, Trinidad and Ukraine

Absent countries:

Serbia and Turkmenistan (MEM; 10/18/16 10:24 am)

Here are the interesting behind the scenes story on Mexico wavering:

Mexico was one of several countries who approved the UNESCO Jerusalem Resolution. Six of the other nations opposed and another 26 refused to vote. But, on Monday, Mexico reportedly changed its stance on its vote and will pass up on the second vote.

Mexico’s Foreign Ministry said that the country recognizes the link between the Jewish people and East Jerusalem. He added that the government wishes to express its deep appreciation for the Jewish community and for its economic, social and cultural contributions to Mexico.

UNESCO Jerusalem Resolution: Why Mexico Changed Its Decision

Mexico’s change in decision on the UNESCO Jerusalem Resolution happened after its own Ambassador, Andres Roemer, walked out after the Thursday vote. It was reportedly a personal vendetta against Mexico’s decision favoring the Jerusalem resolution.

In the meantime, the Mexican government has removed Ambassador Roemer, a Mexican Jew, from office immediately on Tuesday. This happened despite Mexican Jewish community protests.

Below are some Christian Israel-friendly posts encouraging you to sign a petition for Congress to place pressure on the United Nations. You KNOW President Barack Hussein Obama won’t holler for a revote, even though he dared not have the USA vote in favor of removing Jewish history in an election climate that needs traditional Jewish-Dems to vote for Crooked Hillary. And if Crooked Hillary is elected in November YOU KNOW she won’t do anything to correct the UN’s historical revisionism.

Ergo, check out these posts. Sign the petitions. AND BETTER YET, call or write your Congressman and Senators to makes some noise against UNESCO!

UNESCO is unbelievable!

From the desk of Mat Staver:

10/16/2016

On Thursday, UNESCO, the UN cultural agency, passed a resolution which rejects the Jewish connection to Jerusalem. The latest outrage is wholly anti-Semitic, fraught with revisionist history, and excoriates the Israeli government. It should come as no surprise that the "Occupied Palestine" resolution was submitted by six Muslim nations: Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, and Sudan.

UNESCO wants us to believe:

• That Judaism has no historical or rightful connection to the holy sites of the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. It refers to these sites only by their Muslim names. It is in total disregard of biblical history dating back to the Old Testament.

• It condemns Israel and refers to the Jewish State 14 times as "the Occupying power."

• It calls for safeguards of the Palestinian cultural heritage and the distinctive character of east Jerusalem (a divided Jerusalem).

• It charges Israel with a long list of offenses, including fostering terrorism.

Reaction to the vote has been swift and strong:

• In the wake of UNESCO's action, Israel has cut or frozen ties with UNESCO

• Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett said UNESCO was ignoring "thousands of years of Jewish ties to Jerusalem" and aiding "Islamist terror".

• Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that UNESCO had become a "theater of the absurd" in "another delusional decision".

• Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said he was "outraged" by the resolution. "Would UNESCO vote to deny the Christian connection to the Vatican? Or the Muslim connection to Mecca? The UNESCO vote claims that there is no connection between the Jewish people and the Western Wall. In fact, it is the UNESCO vote that has no connection to reality."

The resolution will now be submitted to UNESCO's executive body, which will vote on whether to adopt it." The Associated Press reports the "validated resolution" is expected to be heard early next week.

+ + We are calling for the United States government to launch an action of support for Israel!

With UNESCO attempting to erase Jewish history in Jerusalem, Christians in Defense of Israel is petitioning Congress to uphold Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel. With your help, we are urging lawmakers to take action on behalf of The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, acknowledge Jerusalem as the undisputed and undivided capital of Israel, and move the U.S. Embassy to the City of David.

We believe that this declaration will send a message to the entire world that Jerusalem and its holy sites belong to Israel!

John, stand with us by adding your name to our I Stand With Israel and Jerusalem as its Undivided Capital petition.

CIDI representatives will hand deliver the petitions to lawmakers on Capitol Hill as soon as we have enough signatures to make an impact. We are about half way toward our initial goal of 25,000 signers. Click here to join with us.

Thank you!

God bless you. God bless Israel. God bless America.

P.S. Jerusalem belongs to Israel, as promised by God. Period. Join us in helping to deliver that message.

UN body ratifies decision to erase Jewish history at the Temple Mount

Sent: 10/18/2016 11:16 PM

Early this morning, the executive committee of UNESCO ratified the decision to erase Jewish history on the Temple Mount. It is now the official position to ignore Judaism's 3,000 year history at the site.

A dangerous precedent has been set – a UN body is calling Israel "the occupying power" at the Western Wall and essentially denying the historical facts that tie Israel to Jerusalem. It could have serious implications on Israel's future.

It is time to fight fire with fire. More than 23,000 people have signed our petition demanding the UN explicitly recognize Judaism’s history on the Temple Mount and Western Wall – will you join them?

UNESCO didn’t just erase Jewish history, they erased Christian history at the holy site as well. Scripture says Jesus prayed at the Temple. There's evidence that Byzantine Christians used the Temple Mount before the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem. But in UNESCO’s resolution, all history – other than Islamic history – was erased.

If we don’t act now, Judaism could lose its place at its most sacred site and Israel's international standing could be in danger. In the face of this travesty, we must stand up for Israel.

41 Senators, Representatives and more than 23,000 signers to our petition oppose UNESCO’s anti-Israel resolution. Will you, your friends and your family join them?

Thank you for your support,

The Israel Project

ICEJ STATEMENT ON UNESCO VOTE
Resolution denies any Jewish connection to holy sites

By Dr. Jürgen Bühler, Executive Director
15 Oct 2016 (All day) +0200

We are utterly dismayed that UNESCO has adopted once again a scandalous resolution denying any Jewish connection to the holy sites in Jerusalem and the Land of Israel, including the Temple Mount.

The resolution omits the traditional, biblical names of sacred Jewish sites, calling them by alternative Muslim names only. This is tantamount to rewriting history and stripping these sites of their 4,000 years of Jewish and 2,000 years of Christian connection. We, as Christians, are deeply concerned that the wording accepted by an international body intends to eradicate any Jewish and Christian bonds to these holy places.

This represents a calculated insult against the Jewish people and an affront to two billion Christians worldwide who know full well that as a faithful Jew, Jesus regularly visited the holy Jewish Temple on this site, taught there, and was zealous for its calling as a “house of prayer for all nations.”

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem is now hosting over 5,000 Christians from nearly 100 nations for a Christian celebration of the biblical Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem. Their presence in this city to mark a Jewish festival at this time demonstrates the historic continuity between our respective faiths and the special place Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in particular hold for Jews and Christians alike. So on behalf of these Christian pilgrims and the millions more they represent back in their home countries, we want to affirm to the Israeli public that we respect the Jewish reverence for Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, and we will stand with you in confronting this devious assault on the historic sites in Israel.

The ICEJ had already activated our national branches over recent weeks to work towards changing the wording of this disgraceful UNESCO resolution. And you can rest assured that we will never forget Jerusalem! (Psalm 137:5-6)
