And So It Begins...

Saudi-Iran Map
Yesterday I wrote of President Barack Hussein Obama’s Foreign Policy duplicity for making the effort to negotiate a deal with Iran that will essentially leave their not-so-secret clandestine nuclear weapons program intact. AND that such a negotiation is throwing Israel under the bus.

TODAY I have learned what Obama’s idiotic plans with Iran will lead to – Check out The Corner of the National Review Online to discover Obama’s negotiations is beginning WMD nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

And So It Begins...

My old colleague Mark Urban reports for the BBC:

Saudi Arabia has invested in Pakistani nuclear weapons projects, and believes it could obtain atomic bombs at will, a variety of sources have told BBC Newsnight.

While the kingdom’s quest has often been set in the context of countering Iran’s atomic programme, it is now possible that the Saudis might be able to deploy such devices more quickly than the Islamic republic.

Earlier this year, a senior Nato decision maker told me that he had seen intelligence reporting that nuclear weapons made in Pakistan on behalf of Saudi Arabia are now sitting ready for delivery…

The Sauds, of course, are signatories to that spiffy non-proliferation treaty. Zbigniew Brzezinski and all the realpolitik types in Washington think Iran can be “contained” à la Russian bear. King Abdullah and the other Sunni monarchs understand that this isn’t 1950: a US containment strategy doesn’t come in the wake of nuking Japan, but after years of American weakness, retreat, and the abandonment of allies like Mubarak. Would you bet your future on American containment?
