Judge of Death

Abolghasem Salavat - Judge of Death
Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is facing a death sentence in Iran for being a Christian accused of converting out of Islam. Nadarkhani’s lawyer Mohammad Ali Dadkhah had managed to make Nadarkhani’s persecution an international cause to place pressure on Iran. Iran’s solution was to get rid of Nadarkhani’s advocate. Dadkhah was arrested and convicted in Iran then sentenced for nine years in prison. Specifically Dadkhah was convicted for “…acting against national security and spreading propaganda against the regime.” Dadkhah was sentenced by Iran’s notorious “Judge of Death” Abolghasem Salavat.

Without representation the Iranian government can rip Nadarkhani out of his jail cell and execute the death sentence and no one will be the wiser that the Pastor is dead. I don’t know how ICLJ can pull off advocating for Pastor Nadarkhani legally but they are asking for donations to make an effort to keep the pressure on Iran. I pray others step up to the plate with ICLJ to aid Nadarkhani in any way possible.

May God Almighty save and protect Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God!

Judge of Death

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani's Iranian attorney has been convicted and sentenced to nine years in prison for defending human rights.

The judge in this case is known as one of Iran's worst human rights abusers and is commonly referred to as the "Judge of Death."

The ACLJ has been working with Pastor Youcef's attorney to secure his freedom. Now, with no legal representation in Iran, Pastor Youcef is essentially facing the Iranian regime alone – no advocate to keep him alive and to keep the appeals process going.

Pastor Youcef's attorney will soon begin serving his time in one of Iran's harshest prisons, and no other Iranian attorney will represent him.

We must increase any and all pressure we can on Iran.

Urge the U.S. Senate to unanimously pass the resolution demanding Pastor Youcef's immediate release.
