Choose Freedom... Choose Life!

Abortion Infanticide
Justin O. Smith takes on Pro-Abortion activists. Or is that Pro-Infanticide activists? Left Wing political correctness often muddies the reality so it is sometimes considered shameful to protect the unborn life in favor of the lady deluded to believe their bodily self-interest is more important than life.

Mr. Smith sent this as a follow-up to “The Final Nail.”

Choose Freedom... Choose Life!

Life is sacred and begins at conception, therefore the ethical question cannot logically reconcile the evil of an abortion of an "unwanted" pregnancy with the Hippocratic Oath of medical doctors or, more importantly, God's Law. And yet, many who call themselves "pro-choice" oppose proposed rules that would show a woman an ultrasound of her unborn baby before a planned abortion; they oppose a 48 hour waiting period for this procedure. These pro-choicers do not want parents of an underage girl notified before an abortion, and they argue that an embryo is not a person. Rather than pro-choice, these people are pro-death!

Most of America would welcome the reversal of the pro-abortion U.S. Supreme Court ruling (1973) that secured abortion "rights" for all women, but the far Left and the Progressive Democrats decry a "slippery slope" of attacking a "long standing" legal precedent. However, these same pro-abortion advocates seem totally oblivious to the long standing precedence that stood in favor of life for over two centuries before Roe v. Wade, and since 1973, they have influenced an era in which over fifty million murders (abortions) were rationalized and sanctioned through Leftist/activist courts and under a cloak of protection of "the law."

Due to the existence of multiple forms of safe and effective contraception, the term "unwanted pregnancy" and the irresponsibility of the man and woman involved cannot be used as an excuse for an abortion. By this token, one must understand that abortion has no place in an educated, sophisticated and responsible society. Only two exceptions come to mind: 1) If a woman has young children at home and she faces a life threatening pregnancy complication, an abortion would be a hard and yet reasonable and forgivable solution. 2) In the event of a rape, the psychological trauma to the woman would be extended by nine months if society asked her to carry the baby to term; an exceptionally strong woman could possibly give birth under such circumstances, and then, she could either give the child a good adoptive home or give the child a home by her side.

In 1798, Thomas Robert Malthus wrote that the earth was nearing its limit of a sustainable population in 'An Essay on the Principle of Population' from which many current ideas on health care and abortion evolved. Facilitating child mortality to maintain a desired population level and the elimination of the materially poor, the physically unfit, the mentally incompetent, and the racially inferior and even "the spiritually diseased" was central to his thesis concerning the survival of western civilization and the human race.

In the 1920s, Margaret Sanger embraced eugenics as a nurse associated with the International Workers of the World and Emma Goldman, founder of the American Communist Party, and she later mentored Roger Baldwin, the founder of the ACLU. Sanger went on to found the American Birth Control League in 1925, which eventually became Planned Parenthood; Margaret Sanger was also a devout racist who created the Negro Project (1939) designed to sterilize unknowing black women and those she viewed as undesirables of society. In Sanger's own words, "Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated."

In a pompous act of false entitlement in January of 2012, Planned Parenthood mounted an all out two day public relations assault against the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, due to Komen Vice-President Karen Handel's decision to withdraw funding to Planned Parenthood. Komen for the Cure primarily focuses on finding a cure for breast cancer and other women's health services dedicated to preserving life, so they had long been at odds with the abortion related controversies of Planned Parenthood. However, Komen eventually caved to the Leftist outcry and replaced Planned Parenthood's funding, even though they were well within their rights to defund them...another win for the Merchants of Death!

Marx and Engels incorporated Malthusian concepts as a method of destroying the family unit in order to ensure government control, while Adolph Hitler utilized these concepts as a means of "purifying" German society; 1930s America saw Malthus' ideas as a means to a healthier and wealthier society; and, today we are seeing Malthusian eugenics make a resurgence through Obamacare as delineated by Ezekiel Emmanuel's explanation regarding panels ("death-panels") of bureaucrats apportioning health care benefits and President Obama's and Kathleen Sebelius' (HHS Secretary) attack on the Catholic Church and the First Amendment.

On March 1, 2012, an article in the 'Journal of Medical Ethics called 'After-birth abortion: Why should the baby live?" actually advanced the Malthus, Marx, Nazi and Sanger argument that doctors should be able to kill newborn babies if they are disabled or the mother thinks she cannot afford the baby; even Obama's views are closely aligned with this premise, since he voted as a U.S. Senator for partial birth abortions. The authors suggest that a child, while obviously human, is not really "yet a person" until it can exhibit developed goals and dreams; and, therefore, it does not have a moral right to life, especially if the child is disabled and places a burden on the family and society. If that's the case, perhaps these Leftists should be looking to euthanize the hardcore killers, rapists and robbers burdening society, rather than little, pink, sweet and innocent babies!

Just think. What if Albert Einstein's or Thomas Edison's mothers had wanted to abort them? How pro-death would Obama or Pelosi be if it had been their little baby necks on the proverbial chopping block of abortion?

Allow me to take liberties with Martin Niemoller's quotation: "First they came for the Catholics, and I did not speak out, because I was not Catholic. Then they came for the Southern Baptists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Southern Baptist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me... and, there was no one left to speak for me."

If you believe in the U.S. Constitution and individual freedom...If you want America and Her Republic to survive...and if you believe in the sanctity of Life, whether you are Christian, some other faith or even an atheist, all of you American patriots should be rushing to the defense of the Catholic Church and its institutes now...today! Under the guise of pro-choice, time and again, the Obama administration champions the cause of infanticide, and under the guise of "women's rights," Obama attacks the First Amendment as if a right to murder exists! If enough Americans in opposition to the unconstitutional Health and Human Services mandate do not act in unison and through civil disobedience to ensure its repeal, the rest of the Bill of Rights will soon be at risk. More than women's contraception or abortion rights, this political war concerns everyone's right to individual Freedom... their right to Life...My Friends, America... Choose Freedom...Choose Life!

Deuteronomy 30:19 - I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
