RFID Chip in Food

Do you know what Radio Frequency Identification is? You may better peg the term as RFID which is the acronym. In essence RFID is a way to track something or store identification information on a very small device. I should say track and/or store because these days the intent is to do both.

The intended creation of RFID devices was to make life easier in business. The intention has evolved to the use of finding lost things or pets. That still sounds like a great thing, right? Well at least I think it sounds great. I have a dog that believes he wants to see what life is like outside the fence and has indeed escaped a few times. If I had placed an RFID chip on his collar or implanted one in his body, he would be easier to locate in the hope I could get to him before his lack of knowledge of life outside the fence got my dog hit by a car or stolen.

Now the next evolvement of a RFID chip begins to get a little dicier. Unfortunately these are no longer the days of “Leave it to Beaver” when your children could roam freely around the neighborhood without the fear of bad intentions of other people. These are the days of child predators, human trafficking and drug trafficking. Part of the way to ease a parent’s mind is the RFID chip. If the chip is attached to a mobile phone or some sort of neutral gender jewelry or perhaps implanted; then parents have the ability to check or track down their children under their roof from infanthood through the teenage years.

This also sounds great so why is it dicier?

Human implantation for the purpose of tracking begins an era that goes beyond parents trying to make sure their children are safe. Implanting a RFID chip in a human being becomes a way for your government to track where you are and where you have been. In these days of the slow shredding of the U.S. Constitution through the fallacy of the Living Constitution, Big Brother government can intrude in your life to force compliance to bad laws. The RFID chip could be used to track your spending habits beyond the credit card.

The Leftist might state something like, “If you are not breaking the law, why are you worried what the government knows about you?”

Now what does that sound like? Perhaps it sounds like the old Communist USSR or perhaps Communist Red China. Perhaps this also sounds like the National Socialist regime of Germany that was called the Third Reich under Hitler. You get the picture. It is like the classic Science Fiction novels of Brave New World and 1984 which are despotic and controlling of individuals in the population pertaining to their actions and thoughts. This is a reversal of freedom rather than upholding freedom!

As a Christian another issue arises from RFID chip human implanting. That issue surrounds The End Times or The Last Days. When I became a Christian in the late 1970s the fear factor began to flow through Charismatic and Pentecostal Churches about what was about to happen before the rapture. You may not have agreed with the evangelistic tool of scaring people into Salvation; however a lot of that information sure had the semblance of an enough truth that bad times were on the way. The movie A Thief in the Night came out in the early 1970s and was still going strong in Churches that believed a rapture theology when I was Born Again in 1978. There were quite a few similar End Times movies back then that would scare the snot out of an American Christian because of bar codes that use digits on purchase items in stores. The scare was that the bar code would be stamped on the fore head or the right hand in order to buy or sell. This may sound pretty absurd today but even the basic Charismatic/Pentecostal Christian knew that the mark of the beast would add up to the sum of 666.

Check it out: The implanted RFID chip is the new bar code threat of the mark of the beast. Will that thought become absurd in another 30 or 40 years? It will become absurd if the Tribulation period is still further than 30 or 40 years. I will tell you something though. I am not allowing any marks or implantations to come on my body! I have an Apocalyptic thing about that.

That being said my friend Vicki sent me an article from NaturalNews.com about implanting RFID chips via the path of eating food. Now how simple is that for Big Brother to intrude into your private life? I am posting the NaturalNews.com article as it was sent to me. I don’t know the link so if you wish to search for it go that website.

Scientists push to implement edible RFID tracking chips in food

(NaturalNews) It will monitor your calorie intake, show from where your food was sourced, and even let you know when the food in your fridge is about to go bad -- these are some of the enticing claims made by the developers of a new system that embeds edible radio frequency identification (RFID) chips directly into food. Its creators insist the technology will revolutionize the way humans eat for the better, but critical-thinking onlookers will recognize the ploy as just another way to track and control human behavior.

Developed by Hannes Harms from the Royal College of Art in London, the "NutriSmart" system is based on the idea that
RFID wafers injected directly into food can help better track the food supply chain, further automate the supermarket shopping experience, and simplify the eating experience by programming data into food so that humans essentially do not have to think about what they are doing.

The
technology makes both eating and dealing with food in general mindless, as a person simply needs to plop an RFID-embedded food item onto a special RFID-laced plate, which then tells the person all about the item and how much of it to eat. RFID ovens and microwaves also eliminate having to think about how long to cook an RFID food item -- simply put it in the RFID microwave, oven, or toaster, and the machine will know exactly how long to cook the item.

As interesting and novel as this might sound, such technology is actually quite frightening when taken to its logical ends.
NaturalNews previously warned that mad scientists have already developed edible RFID tags for use in pharmaceutical drugs (http://www.naturalnews.com/028663_h...). These tags, of course, can and will likely be used to monitor patients' compliance with doctors (sic) orders, and alert authorities if a patient refuses to take certain pills as prescribed.

And if such technology also ends up in food, it is safe to assume that evil powers will seek to control the
food supply with it, as well as monitor the types of food people eat. In other words, if authorities one day decide that vitamin and mineral supplements are off limits, which is what is currently happening in Europe (http://www.naturalnews.com/032389_h...), it is plausible that RFID technology can assess illegal intake of such nutrients, and immediately send this data to the appropriate enforcement agencies.

This 1984-esque scenario appears to be more than just science fiction -- it is unfolding before our eyes just a little bit more every single day. And the NutriSmart system is just another piece of evidence that those in
power wish to micromanage every single aspect of our lives, from the drugs we take to the foods we eat.
