What Actually Inspired Egyptians to the Streets?

Mubarak Resigns toon

Hosni Mubarak was a dictator that ruled and kept his power with an iron fist. This did not endear him to many Egyptian citizens. On the other hand Mubarak was a staunch ally of America and was not hostile to Israel as were the two previous Egyptian Presidents before him.

There is the rub for Americans who take the American way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for granted. The natural instinct for Americans who watched tens (perhaps hundreds) of thousands of Egyptians take to the streets to protest Mubarak’s Presidency in a remarkably peaceful manner, especially for Muslim culture, elicited sympathy for Egyptians. After all Egyptians should also have access to the Liberty that America has had since the end of the American Revolutionary War, right?

But what inspired the Egyptian people to flow into the streets to protest one of the staunchest allies of America in the Muslim Middle East? Was it merely the rise of grassroots revolution inspired by the action of Tunisian citizens? Was it the Muslim Brotherhood who took advantage of the sentiment of Tunisian grassroots revolution who then fomented Egyptians to go to the streets? One looming question is beginning to be asked: Was the Obama Administration intimately involved in affairs of State and clandestine operatives in fomenting Egyptians to the streets to remove American ally Mubarak because rule offended the utopian thoughts of President Barack Hussein Obama?

As you read the Ari Bussel article you will notice the excoriation of Obama and a moment of respect for Obama and a hint to America’s past which saw another Dem Party Left Wing ideologue in President Carter shooting down American ally the Iranian Shah Reza Pahlavi.
